9. Terminator Genisys
Arnold is back! Although, the trailer doesn't look that great, I have faith that it will turn out somewhat decent.
8. The Spongebob Movie: Sponge out of Water
I have waited for a second Spongebob movie for quite a while.
7. Jurassic World
The first Jurassic Park was quite groundbreaking for the time and the new one looks like everything that the Jurassic Park sequels should have been.
6. Chappie
Neill Blomkamp's Pinocchio seems like a pretty cool idea. Also it looks quite promising and Blomkamp doesn't make bad films.
5. Mad Max: Fury Road
Finally, the long awaited fourth installment in the "Mad Max" franchise is coming. And it's from George Miller who did the previous three. What's not to look forward to?
4. Tomorrowland
Movies based on Disney World attractions don't normally turn out very good. However, Tomorrowland seems to have a lot of promise in the hands of Brad Bird (The Incredibles) and it looks pretty awesome from the teaser trailer.
3. The Peanuts Movie
I was skeptical upon hearing that they were making a computer animated movie based on "Peanuts". But from seeing the few teasers, it actually looks promising. Maybe it will be another surprise hit like The Lego Movie.
2. Jupiter Ascending
I admire the work of the Wachowski Siblings and I absolutely adored "Cloud Atlas" and their next film looks super promising.
1. Star Wars: The Force Awakens
I'm putting on my nerd face. The original Star Wars trilogy (A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi) was a very important part of mine and my older brother's childhood. From what I saw in the teaser, it looks pretty amazing. I have a feeling it will destroy the prequels. I hope they don't mess this one up.
